Blue Raiders to Host Evansville in Midweek Doubleheader

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders (7-10, 2-1) will play a non-conference doubleheader against the Evansville Purple Aces (10-6) on Thursday at Blue Raider Field. The games are scheduled for 2 PM and 4 PM.

The two contests were arranged due to both teams having four games cancelled over the weekend because of inclement weather.

The Blue Raiders are coming off two wins out of three in their Sun Belt Conference opening series against the Troy Trojans last week. They had four games cancelled due to weather at the Buzz Classic in Woodstock, Ga. over the weekend.

Evansville has not played since their 6-3 win over the Western Carolina on March 2nd. The Purple Aces have had six straight games cancelled due to weather, including four at the St. Louis Tournament over the weekend.
