MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The first 250 students for Middle Tennessee's WNIT women's basketball game versus Western Carolina will be admitted free thanks to the university Student Affairs department. All other student tickets are $4 for the game, per WNIT regulations for the postseason tournament.
All adult tickets for the contest are general admission seats and cost $11. Tickets may be purchased through the Middle Tennessee Ticket Office at 615/898-2103 or 1-888-YES-MTSU. Office hours on Wednesday are 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at Gate 1A of Floyd Stadium and then at the Murphy Center Ticket Office starting at 5:30 for the 7 p.m. contest.
Wednesday's game marks the fifth straight year the Blue Raiders will take part in the postseason and the program's third appearance in the WNIT. Middle Tennessee lost at Memphis in 1999 and at Indiana in 2001 in first round contests. The Blue Raiders are 3-4 in the NCAA Tournament in the last four seasons, including victories over North Carolina, N.C. State and Gonzaga.
