KANE'OHE, O'ahu - On a day when the scores were high across the board, the Middle Tennessee women's golf team shot a 331 in the second round and dropped into a tie for 11th at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational.
The Blue Raiders have a two-day total 63-over 639 and are well off the pace set by Oklahoma State and Arizona, who are tied at 11-over 587 entering Wednesday's final round at Kane'ohe Klipper Golf Course.
Middle Tennessee seniors Jamey Dillard and Taryn Durham are leading the team through two rounds and are among the top 30 players in the loaded field. Dillard is tied for 25th after shooting 80 Tuesday. She is 12-over 156 entering the final round. Durham is tied for 28th with a 13-over 157 after also turning in an 80 Tuesday.
Clara Leathers (163) is tied for 59th, followed by Leigh Wilkins (164) at 66th, and Mallory Bishop (165) at 70th.
