The Blue Raiders were 3-2 in the tournament, finishing second and claiming their 40th win of the season. Williams helped the squad to one of the wins on the mound while Harp and Kemp combined for 14 hits and 11 runs in five games.
Williams defeated Louisiana-Lafayette on Thursday night, tossing 8.1 innings and allowing four earned runs while striking out nine. The Murfreesboro, Tenn., native picked up his career-high eighth win of the season and fourth straight.
Harp was 6-for-12 in the tournament with six walks and three runs scored. The Louisville, Ky., native had one homer and five RBIs, including four in the opening 12-2 victory over Arkansas State. He also caught all but four innings in the five games.
Kemp went 8-for-20 with a team-high eight runs scored in the five outings. The Paris, Tenn., native had three doubles, a triple and two homers while driving in five runs. He also added an outfield assist in the championship game and stole a base.
Middle Tennessee stands 40-20 overall this season, including 19-10 against Sun Belt foes. The Blue Raiders have won 13 of their last 16 games to end the regular season and await Monday's NCAA Baseball Selection Show to see if their season will continue.
