MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee will play its fifth game in as many days on Tuesday, May 6 when it travels to Winchester, Tenn., to play host to Mississippi State in a two-game series.
The Blue Raiders will also play the Bulldogs on Wednesday to round out the two-game series. Both games are set for 6 p.m. and tickets are $10 at the Gamble Sports Complex in Winchester.
Middle Tennessee is holding a meet-and-greet for alumni and guests before the game on Tuesday, May 6. The meet-and-greet will begin at 4:30 p.m. with Middle Tennessee's women's and men's basketball coaches Rick Insell and Kermit Davis on hand to visit with alumni and community members before the game.
Former Blue Raider Will Fraley will throw the first pitch at Tuesday's game. Fraley played first base, catcher and designated hitter from 1994-97 and was on two OVC Tournament Championship teams in 1994 and 1995. Fraley was on the 1995 NCAA tournament team and was named Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Play-In series against Jackson State.
On Wednesday, Morris Rogers, who is the Director of Athletics for the Franklin County school system, will throw out the first pitch. Rogers is a former golf student-athlete at Middle Tennessee and received both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the university.
