Nambawa Finishes 12th in Triple Jump
Sophomore misses second All-America honor of the year

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee's Sarah Nambawa finished 12th overall in the triple jump Saturday, posting a mark of 42-2.25 in the event finals at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa.
Nambawa needed to finish in the Top 8 to garner All-America honors, a feat she achieved indoors earlier this season in the same event. The Blue Raider sophomore made the finals after posting a mark of 43-1 in the preliminaries on Friday evening at Drake Stadium.
