All three drew opening-round byes in the prequalifying. Born defeated Georgia Tech's Noah Tyler, 6-2, 6-2, and advances to play Saturday at 9 a.m. ET against LSU's Mark Growcett.
Pollack won 7-5, 6-2, over Indiana State's Kevin Doh, and plays at 9 a.m. versus Florida State's Chip Webb. Sitaram defeated Baylor's Barry McLaren, 2-6, 6-4, 6-4, and will play Vanderbilt's Nathan Sachs at 10:30 a.m.
Marc Boiron suffered a 1-6, 0-6 defeat to Oregon's Markus Schiller in the opening round.
In doubles play, Pollack and Sitaram dropped an 8-4 decision to Louisville's Jhonny Berrido and Octavian Nicodim.
Born and Andreas Siljestrom play doubles Saturday at 12:30 p.m. against Butler's Andy Bartish and James Low in the second round.
