COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee volleyball (8-8) extended its winning streak to five matches with a 3-0 (30-28, 30-20, 30-24) victory over non-conference rival Tennessee Tech (5-10) Wednesday.
Middle Tennessee had 20 errors and recorded just a .219 attack percentage but the Blue Raiders prevailed for the win. The 8-8 record is the first time this season Middle Tennessee has been .500.
The Blue Raiders got quality performances from the usual suspects as Dara McLean, KeKe Deckard and Andressa Lyra each registered double figure kills. Deckard led the squad with 15, followed by McLean with 13 and Lyra with 12.
Middle Tennessee heads back into Sun Belt Conference action as the team travels to Miami to take on Florida International Sunday.
