Middle Tennessee Volleyball Game's Canceled

Murfreesboro, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee Lady Raider volleyball will not participate in the Kentucky Conference Challenge as the Kentucky Athletic Association, in accordance with the Southeastern Conference, has postponed all sporting events indefinitely.

Earlier today, it seemed the Lady Raiders would at least be able to play two games in Lexington, KY as the four team tournament was trimmed to three with the addition of Miami University (OH). San Jose State and the University of Virginia were slated to play in the tournament but SJSU couldn't fly out and Virginia had decided to suspend all athletic events through the weekend.

Middle Tennessee will continue to practice this weekend in preparation for the Lady Raiders home opener against Belmont University on Tuesday Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. The Lady Raiders have played Belmont four times and are undefeated against the Lady Bruins.
