MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee rounded out the Blue Raider Bash with a 3-0 win over Loyola-Marymount on Saturday to remain undefeated on the season.

Senior Ashley Asberry had eight kills and eight block assists in the match to help guide the Blue Raiders on both sides of the ball. Asberry posted a .583 hitting percentage and one service ace against the Lions.

Middle Tennessee won by scores of 25-19, 25-22 and 25-15 led at the net by sophomore Izabela Kozon who knocked down 12 kills.

"We are a hard team to defend because when they focus on one or two players it frees up our other players and they always come through. It was a great team effort for us. Loyola-Marymount has a really low RBI so it is a great win for us," head coach Matt Peck said.

As a team, Middle Tennessee had 39 kills for a .258 hitting percentage. Defensively, the Blue Raiders had 36 digs and eight and a half blocks.

Middle Tennessee held the Lions to just 25 blocks and a .044 hitting percentage. LMU also had just two blocks in the match.

Freshman Stacy Oladinni had eight kills on the day for an .818 hitting percentage with two block assists.

"We had a breakout match for Stacey we were...I think when Sasha Mc Glothin went out yesterday with her injury Stacy realized she had to pick it up some. She was unstoppable tonight, I don't think she had an error. I think she did a great job," Peck said. Middle Tennessee had 13 kills in each match with a .375 hitting percentage in the second set.

Middle Tennessee will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 12 when it travels to Arlington, Texas to compete in the UT-Arlington Hilton Invitational.
