Middle Tennessee receiving votes

The Blue Raiders (10-3) did receive and honorable mention in the poll after receiving 29 votes.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee dropped out of the CSTV/American Volleyball Coaches Association Top-25 Poll after falling 3-1 (25-16, 23-25, 25-21, 25-16) to rival Western Kentucky over the weekend.

The Blue Raiders (10-3) did receive and honorable mention in the poll after receiving 29 votes.

Tulane, whom the Blue Raiders lost to a week ago, received 28 votes for the Top-25 while the Lady Toppers received four votes after defeating Middle Tennessee in its only match of the weekend.

Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky are the only Sun Belt teams receiving votes in the poll.

Middle Tennessee will return to Alumni Memorial Gym to play host to Florida International and Florida Atlantic on Friday and Saturday Oct. 3-4 at 7 p.m.
