McCann falls at ITA All-American
Peers will begin qualifying round on Monday
October 4, 2008 · MT Athletic CommunicationsMcCann fell to Kentucky's Patrick Bandy 6-1, 6-0 in the second round of pre-qualifying. McCann received a bye in the first round of play.
McCann and teammate sophomore Richard Cowden are out of the ITA All-American Championships because they do not qualify for Lucky Loser status.
Lucky Losers are selected for qualifying and main draws in order of the highest seeds who lose in the final qualifying rounds.
Sophomore John Peers will compete for the Blue Raiders in the qualifying rounds of the ITA All-American Championships as he automatically qualified. The qualifying rounds begin on Monday, Oct. 6 and will run through Wednesday, Oct. 8.
