Blue Raiders ready for UNF Invitational
MT will compete in three-day event after two weeks off
October 8, 2008 · MT Athletic CommunicationsThe Middle Tennessee women's tennis team will travel to Jacksonville, Fla., this weekend to compete in the North Florida Invitational.

The Blue Raiders will compete in all three singles draws as well as doubles play during the tournament.
Freshman Taylor Coffey will begin the tournament by facing conference foe Florida International's Maria Spencely in A singles.
Junior Natalie Araya will also play in A singles but received a bye in the first round. Araya will play the winner of Aline Berkenbrock of host UNF and Georgia State's Ali Beavers.
In B singles, senior Andrea Herrera will begin play facing Valecia Kendrick of Boston College.
Freshman Marietta Bigus will also compete in B singles but received a bye in the first round. In the round of 16, Bigus will face the winner of GSU's Mallory Rolle and Samford's Lindsey Mallory.
Senior Marlene Chemin will play Daniella Palmiotto of Stetson in the first round of C singles.
Junior Anna Djananova received a bye in the first round of C singles and will play the winner of Boston College's Reijina Hopkins and Emma Knight of Georgia State.
Freshman Alex Dachos also received a bye in the first round of C singles and will face the winner of host North Florida's Victoria Krook and South Carolina State's Amy Chen.
Results of the tournament will be posted on www.goblueraiders.com as soon as they become available.
