Blue Raiders Fall to Memphis 3-0
October 26, 2004 · MT Media RelationsThe 3-0 sweep was the first time since losing to Western Kentucky, on September 24, the Blue Raiders haven't won a game in a match. The loss also snaps a two match-winning streak for Middle Tennessee. The Blue Raiders are now 4-4 in away games and 6-8 against non-conference opponents.
Senior outside hitter KeKe Deckard, the current Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week, led the Blue Raiders with 13 kills. She was the only Middle Tennessee player to record double figure kills.
The Blue Raiders head back into Sun Belt Conference play when Middle Tennessee hosts Florida International. Middle Tennessee defeated the Panthers on October 10 3-1 in Miami. Match time is set for 7 p.m. and seniors Deckard and Dara McLean will be honored prior to the match.
