JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Blue Raiders had a perfect day in singles action and lost just one doubles match to open play at the UNF Fall Invitational hosted by North Florida.

Freshman Taylor Coffey defeated Florida International's Maria Spencely 6-4, 6-4 to open play at the UNF Invitational. Coffey will play Tara Byrne in the second round of play at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
In B singles, senior Andrea Herrera defeated Boston College's Valecia Kendrick 6-1, 6-3. Herrera will play Sun Belt conference foe Stephanie Vieira at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday in the second round of play.
Senior Marlene Chemin won her match 6-1, 6-4 over Daniella Palimotto of Stetson to begin C singles. Chemin will face Samford's Karen Niszl at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
After a bye in the first round of A singles, junior Natalie Araya will play Aline Berkenbrock of host UNF at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Freshman Marietta Bigus will play at 12 p.m. on Saturday after receiving a bye in the first round of play in B singles.
In C singles, junior Anna Djananova will face Emma Knight of Georgia Southern on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. after receiving a bye in the first round. Also in C singles, freshman Alex Dachos will play - after receiving a bye in the first round of play.
In doubles action, Araya and Djananova fell 8-6 to Christine Caforio and Melanie Rolle of Georgia Southern.
Chemin and Coffey paired up to defeat Jessica Fuller and Kristi Kegerreis of Georgia State 8-4. The duo will play Kendrick and Stacey Lopez of Boston College at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
Herrea teamed up with East Tennessee State's Paula Jaime to defeat Boston College's Andrea Paez and Jeneice Ward 8-3. Herrera and Jaime will play Shannon Hartman and Rebecca Kirven of Samford at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Also in C singles, Bigus and Dachos paired to win their match 8-4 over Iveta Blodneice of South Carolina State and Victoria Krook of UNF. The two will play Knight and Molly Maddox of Georgia State at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
