Jonathan Guillou led Middle Tennessee with a time of 32:30 in the 10K event with a time of 32:30 to finish 69th overall. Steve Safstrom (32:50) was Middle Tennessee's second finisher across the line, coming in at 82nd, and Derek Dell (32:57) was 87th.

Blue Raider senior Geoffrey Lagat, who finished fourth at the Sun Belt championships, suffered cramps and was unable to finish the race.
