Holiday invited to play in Las Vegas All-American Classic

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee senior wide receiver Pedro Holiday has been selected to play in the inaugural Las Vegas All-American Classic. Formerly known as the "Paradise Bowl", this year's event will be played on Jan. 22, 2005 at Sam Boyd Stadium.

This year's Classic, which will be televised in the Midwest and West on Fox Sports Net to nearly 40 million homes, will have 110 of the top college athletes from around the country making it "America's largest college all-star football game."

Holiday, who missed two games this year with a hamstring injury, caught 16 passes for 176 yards and a touchdown. The track all-american also returned eight kickoffs for an 18.4-yard average.
