Show-Me Camp Set for February 13

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee head baseball coach Steve Peterson and the Blue Raider baseball team will hold the annual Show-Me baseball camp on Sunday, February 13, at Reese Smith Field.

Also scheduled to appear at the camp will be former Blue Raiders and current professional baseball players Jason Maxwell (Tampa Bay Devil Rays), Bryan Peck (Colorado Rockies), Adam Larson (Chicago White Sox), Chad Cooper (Tampa Bay Devil Rays), Jerry Knox (Shreveport Sports), Brett Carroll (Florida Marlins), Chris Mobley (Florida Marlins), Jeremy Owens (Boston Red Sox) and John Williams (Minnesota Twins). All of these players will be available if schedules permit.

The camp runs from 1-5 p.m. and will include instructional sessions on hitting, pitching, infield play, outfield play and baserunning. Campers between the ages of 6 and 12 are invited to attend.

Campers should bring their own gloves and be ready to participate in drills and instruction as well as be prepared to listen and learn.

The cost to attend the camp is $70 for pre-registered participants and $80 for campers signing up on the day of the camp. The camp registration includes insurance and a camp T-shirt. Parents may attend free with a paid camper.

Camp registration will be held between noon and 1 p.m. in the lower level of Murphy Center.
