Murfreesboro, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee volleyball program received enough votes in the final American Volleyball Coaches Association Top-25 poll for an honorable mention.

The Blue Raiders received 15 votes in the poll after not receiving any votes since November.
A number of Middle Tennessee opponents from the 2008 season were either ranked or received honorable mentions in the poll. Among those opponents were Iowa State (12), Purdue (15), St. Louis (21), Tulane (23 votes), Duke (seven votes) and Western Kentucky (two votes).
The Blue Raiders were 1-2 against teams who ended the season ranked in the Top-25. Middle Tennessee ended the 2008 season 27-8 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season.
