Richard defeated host UNF's Marcos Chiaretti 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 in his only singles match of the day. Richard then team with sophomore Richard Cowden for the second time in as many days to defeat Thibaud Aime and Brenton Bacon of Florida Gulf Coast 8-6. Richard and Cowden won their second doubles match by default against Murilo Souza and Vinicius Craveiro of Jacksonville.

Cowden won his singles match 6-4, 6-3 over Matthew Rock of JU.

Junior Victor Melo and freshman Matthew Langley paired up to defeat Raphael Costa and Edson Lima of FGC 8-1 in their only doubles match while junior Alex McCann and sophomore Kyle Wishing won 8-4 over JU's Aroon Khatter and Rock.

McCann also faced Khatter in singles action winning 6-2, 6-2 as Wishing won his match 6-1 over Steve Binninger of FGC after he retired.

Melo won his singles match 6-2, 6-2 against UNF's Kurt Gattiker while Langley defeated Ronnie Sang, also of UNF, 6-4, 7-6.

Wrapping up the action for the Blue Raiders was senior Robert McKenzie who defeated Federico Levi of UNF 7-6, 6-4.

Middle Tennessee will round out play at the UNF Spring Invitational on Sunday, Jan. 11. Results will be posted on www.goblueraiders.com as soon as they become available.
