MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee track teams will wrap up the regular season Saturday at Murphy Center as they will play host to the MT Valentine Invitational.
After a regular season of NCAA provisional marks, school records and personal bests, this will be the last tune up meet before the Blue Raiders travel to Jonesboro, Ark. for the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships in two weeks.
Middle Tennessee will welcome teams from Chattanooga, Milligan College, Southeast Louisiana, Tennessee State, and Western Kentucky to Murfreesboro.
Jumpers Carl Morgan and Sarah Nambawa had excellent performances last weekend in Lexington, Ky., at the Rod McCravy Memorial meet. Morgan swept the men's long and triple jumps and Nambawa won the women's triple jump.
Nambawa's win was her fifth first place in the triple jump this season. She remains undefeated in her primary event.
The meet will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the men's and women's weight throw and conclude at 2:40 p.m. with the one mile relays.
Results will be posted after the meet on goblueraiders.com.
