NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Senior Robert McKenzie remained perfect on the season but it was not enough as Middle Tennessee fell 5-2 to No. 28 Vanderbilt on Saturday afternoon.

McKenzie teamed with sophomore John Peers to defeat No. 32 Adam Baker and Alex Zotov 8-4, as they posted the only doubles win for the Blue Raiders.

In singles action, the Commodores continued to control the match taking a 3-0 lead after victories at No. 5 and 2 singles.

Then Peers won his singles match, 6-3, 7-5 over Vijay Paul to close the gap making it 3-1.

McKenzie made it a one-point match with his 6-2, 7-5 win over Nick Cromydas. McKenzie is now 4-0 in dual matches and 7-0 on the season.
