MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Rick Insell Show, the weekly radio show of the Middle Tennessee head coach, will broadcast live Monday from Coach's Grill instead of on-location in Miami due to a change in the team's travel plans.
Host Dick Palmer and Insell had made arrangements for the show to be live from south Florida due to the Blue Raiders playing at Florida Atlantic Saturday and Florida International Wednesday.
However, the team's travel plans, which originally had it staying in Florida through the duration of the week, were recently changed. The Lady Raiders will be returning to Murfreesboro after the game Saturday and returning to the Miami area Tuesday in preparation for Wednesday's contest.
Fans and supporters, who have made Coach's Grill a standing-room only crowd all year, are encouraged to come out for the show, which will be the next-to-last broadcast this season.
The Rick Insell Show will be live from 6-7 p.m. on WMOT and then tape-delayed on WGNS from 8-9 p.m. The show precedes Kermit Davis Live, featuring the head Middle Tennessee men's coach and host Charlie McAlexander. Kermit Davis Live is broadcast live on WGNS from 7-8 p.m.
The two radio shows will conclude this season with the final appearances March 2 prior to the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
