Klaschka and Siljestrom Notch Big Win in Lady Raider Loss

"Marshall was a really good team," said Head Coach Neil Stapp. "We had a good effort in the match and fought hard and I am proud of the team."
Jennifer Klaschka and Ann-Kristin Siljestrom, ranked No. 45 in the ITA, notched their second win over a ranked doubles team with an 8-6 victory over No. 46 Joelle Good and Danielle Hock. The top Lady Raider tandem improves to 5-3 on the season.
Marshall came back and picked up wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to take the point into singles play. The Thundering Herd road rough shod over the Lady Raiders in the singles, sweeping them for the win.
The Lady Raiders did have quality performance in the match. Senior Ana Maria Cibils went three sets in her match against Hock before falling 0-6, 6-4, 5-7.
Middle Tennessee returns to action on Saturday to take on Penn State. Match time is set for 11 a.m.
