Blue Raiders fall 5-2 to San Diego State

McKenzie and Peers post wins

FRESNO, Calif. - No. 66 Middle Tennessee fell to No. 50 San Diego State 5-2 in the second of three matches it will play this weekend.

SDSU swept the doubles point to begin the match and never looked back.

Senior Robert McKenzie and sophomore John Peers did their part to help the Blue Raiders but it was not enough. No. 111 McKenzie defeated Achim Ceban 6-3, 6-1 winning his 10th straight singles match.

Peers, who is ranked 72, won his match 7-6, 6-2 over Juan Gomez.

The Blue Raiders will be back in action at 12 p.m. when they play Fresno State.
