MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee will play four of seven exhibition matches at home and travel to Vanderbilt this spring as announced by Head Coach Aston Rhoden on Monday.
The Blue Raiders open with two games on the road against Alabama A&M and Alabama-Huntsville on March 22 before returning home to take on local rival Belmont and Murray State on April 4.
Middle Tennessee travels the following weekend to SEC-foe Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn., and welcomes Evansville to Blue Raider Field on April 15 at 7:45 p.m. The Blue Raiders round out spring play four days later against the soccer alumni on April 19.
"We are excited to get back on the field for these matches," said Rhoden. "The team has been practicing very well and we are eager to test ourselves against quality competition. This is another step in the development of our players in preparation for a successful fall campaign."
Middle Tennessee loses just four seniors from a 2008 squad that finished third in the Sun Belt regular-season standings last fall.
