Nambawa to compete in NCAA Championships

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Middle Tennessee junior Sarah Nambawa is set to compete in long and triple jump this weekend at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Texas A&M.
The Ghana native has earned automatic qualifiers in both events to advance to the national meet and has the second longest triple jump in the nation this season.
Nambawa's long jump of 20-0.00 and triple jump of 44-08.25 at the MT Valentine Invitational on February 14 both set school indoor records.
She will compete Friday night in the long jump followed by the triple jump on Saturday afternoon.
