NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Blue Raiders fell to No. 74 South Alabama 6-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Middle Tennessee lost all three doubles matches which included an 8-2 loss to No. 54 Michaela Babicova and Sylvanie Spangenberg by junior Natalie Araya and senior Andrea Herrera.
In singles action, senior Marlene Chemin posted the only win for the Blue Raiders as she defeated Alina Volman 8-6 in No. 6 singles.
Middle Tennessee will be back in action March 17 at 1 p.m. when it plays host to Princeton at the Buck Bouldin Tennis Complex.
