Blue Raiders take win over Hilltoppers

MT breaks losing streak in 7-0 rout

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee's women's tennis team broke its seven-match losing streak on Friday night with a 7-0 win over rival Western Kentucky.

The two teams started the match with doubles as the Blue Raiders swept. Junior Anna Djananova began the rout with her 6-0, 6-2 win over Margo Van Bussell.

Middle Tennessee clinched the match when junior Natalie Araya defeated Marija Djuran 6-3, 7-5.

The Blue Raiders continued to perform well in doubles taking a sweep over the Hilltoppers.

Middle Tennessee will be back in action on Saturday, March 21 at 2 p.m. when it plays host to Indiana State at the Buck Bouldin Tennis Center.
