MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee junior forward Alysha Clark was named Second Team All-American by CBSSports.com recently after helping to lead the Blue Raiders to the NCAA Tournament for the 12th time in program history.
The Sun Belt Player of the Year is the nation's leading scorer at 27.3 ppg and is one of five juniors among the 15 overall selections, comprising three five-person teams.
The Mt. Juliet, Tenn., native is the second Lady Raider in as many years to receive All-America recognition from CBSSports.com following Amber Holt's First Team selection last season.
Middle Tennessee, seeded eighth in the Berkeley Region, will face ninth-seeded Michigan State on the Spartans' home floor, the Jack Breslin Student Events Center, at 11 a.m. Central Sunday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
