Blue Raiders Down to One Pitcher with Bobo Departure
March 16, 2005 · MT Media Relations"Crystal came to me and told me she wasn't happy on the team," Podlesny said. "She said it was best she and the team go in separate directions."
Bobo's departure leaves the Blue Raider's pitching staff severely depleted. Middle Tennessee must now rely solely on the arm of freshman Ashley Katinas.
"This is not the ideal situation and everyone on the team wishes there were more options," Podlesny said. "We are just going to make the best of it, and that is made easier because of the positive attitude Ashley has had throughout this transition."
Middle Tennessee returns to action on Thursday when the Blue Raiders host Mississippi State. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. at Blue Raider Field.
