MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee track and field teams will travel to Auburn, Ala. for the Tiger Track Classic hosted by Auburn University.

The Tiger Track Classic will feature a strong cast of athletes from some of the best teams in the country. Three men's teams including Kentucky, Georgia and South Carolina and three women's teams including host Auburn, Minnesota and South Carolina will all be represented and enter with top 25 rankings. Sun Belt rivals Louisiana-Lafayette and Troy will also be present.

The meet will be the third outdoor meet of the season. Unfortunately, last weekend's meet at Georgia Tech was cancelled because of rain.

Coach Dean Hayes' team will compete in a full slate of individual track events, field events and the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays.
