Soccer set for alumni match

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The 2009 Middle Tennessee soccer alumni match is set to be played Sunday at the Track and Soccer Complex. Opening kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.

The Blue Raiders welcome back a host of former greats in what expects to be the largest returning field in the history of the event.

"It's exceptional to have some of the people who have played a part in the history, tradition and success of this program coming back to campus," Blue Raider head coach Aston Rhoden said. "We are really excited to have them back and hope they have an outstanding time. Our current players are going to learn a lot from them."

The alumni squad includes: Debs Brereton, Shannon Broadwell, Lindsey Bopp, Emily Carter, Katie Daley, Kim Farrant, Kaley Forrest, Laura Howarth, Elise Hutter, Kala Morgan, Chrissy Payne, Danielle Perrault, Katie Rayburn, Jennifer Robb, Sheri Robbins, Caitlin Reeves, Sarah Schulz, Tobey Schultz, Lindsay Stewart, Claire Ward, Molly Walroth, Melissa Wellman and Sara Wohlhueter.
