Coffey leads team in second round of tourney

Then Middle Tennessee lost No. 6 singles as Denver took a 2-0 lead in the match.
Freshman Taylor Coffey won her match 4-6, 2-3 as Julia Bauregger retired due to injury. Coffey's win cut Denver's lead making the match score 2-1.
The Blue Raiders did not win another match as Denver swept the rest of play for the win.
Middle Tennessee ends the 2009 season with a 9-14 record and was 3-3 against Sun Belt opponents.
