LAKELAND, Fla. - Former Middle Tennessee tight end Jason Krupinski has joined the Lakeland Thunderbolts of the National Indoor Football League. Krupinski, out of Hudson, Fla., is listed as a linebacker and defensive end for the Thunderbolts.
Krupinski, 6-3, 250, played in six games for the Blue Raiders last season after transferring from Blinn College in Brenham, Tex.
In last Saturday's loss to the Miami Morays, Krupinski registered three catches for 19 yards to go along with a 12-yard run. Ironically, Krupinski was playing against former Blue Raider Kai Zeigler who had two tackles for the Morays.
The Thunderbolts play in the Atlantic South Division where they are 1-1 on the season entering Friday's game against New Jersey.
