  • Brown, a Jamestown, Tenn., native, is a two-time CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District honoree. She has earned a spot on the Sun Belt Commissioner's List and Middle Tennessee's Dean List.

She averaged 11.9 points per game this past season, helping lead the Blue Raiders to the Sun Belt title, an NCAA Tournament berth and a 28-6 record. Brown added 4.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game on her way to garnering Third Team All-Sun Belt and All-Sun Belt Tournament Team accolades.

She also is a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Societies, while boasting a 3.981 cumulative grade-point average.

Brown received her accounting degree at MT in just three years earlier this month. She is slated to begin graduate school at Middle Tennessee in June in pursuit of a MBA.

She will return to the court for one final season in 2009-10 as one of six seniors for coach Rick Insell's squad.
