Event at Champions Run Friday at 1 p.m.
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee Athletic Department will conduct the official dedication of the Jeff Hendrix Golf Performance Center Friday at 1 p.m., at Champions Run Golf Course.
The public is invited to attend the dedication and meet with Blue Raider men's golf coach Whit Turnbow and women's golf coach Chris Adams, as well as tour the facility.
The Jeff Hendrix Golf Performance Center is a 2,600-square foot indoor practice facility for the men's and women's golf teams. It features four hitting bays with two video analysis rooms, player's lounge, club repair room and an upstairs putting lab with video analysis.
"It's going to be an exciting day as we officially dedicate the facility," Turnbow said. "We appreciate the generosity of Jeff Hendrix, as well as all of the people who have donated to the program, to help this and these types of things become reality. This facility will provide our players access to improving their games throughout the year and it will benefit our men's and women's programs as a whole."
"The impact this facility will have for our golf teams at Middle Tennessee is tremendous," Adams said. "We were able to utilize it during the spring and the results were there. A facility such as this will only help improve your programs if you utilize it and our players are extremely excited about it and the opportunity to have a first-class facility where they can work and improve their game throughout the year."
Champions Run Golf Course is located off Highway 99 in Rockvale on Mt. Pleasant Road.
