MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Rawley Bishop, Nathan Hines and Coty Woods will join a long list of Blue Raiders who have played professional baseball when they report to their respective teams on Monday.
Bishop, who signed with the Detroit Tigers, will join the Oneonta Tigers in Oneonta, N.Y., with the New York-Penn League.
Hines and Woods, who each signed with the Colorado Rockies, will play on the same team, Casper Ghosts in Casper, Wy., with the Pioneer League.
The trio will begin their professional careers later in the week with the opening of the season after impressive seasons for the Blue Raiders. Between the three players they broke seven career records and three single-season records during the 2009 campaign.
