April 30, 2005 · MT Media Relations
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee's Linnie Yarbrough placed fourth and the women's 4x200-meter relay was fifth during the final day of competition at the 111th Penn Relays at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, Pa.

The women's 4x200-relay of Kerry Barrow, Antranette Stringer, Shanna-Kay Campbell and Kishara George posted a time of 1:35.70 to place fifth in the university finals. The foursome was set to run the 4x400-meter finals but pulled out after Campbell aggravated a leg injury that has been bothering the newcomer all year.

Yarbrough posted a time of 13.87 to finish fourth in the 110-meter hurdles Saturday, finishing behind three SEC competitors.

Both track teams do not run again until the Sun Belt Championships in two weeks at Tad Gormley Stadium in New Orleans, La.
