Blue Raiders looking to rebound from last weekend
September 10, 2009 · MT Athletic CommunicationsThe Blue Raiders (5-2) will face a 2008 NCAA Tournament team in Albany in addition to its first nationally ranked team as Florida State is currently No. 22 in the AVCA Coaches Poll.
Middle Tennessee will be looking to rebound from a bad end to last weekend's Blue Raider Bash after losses to Northern Iowa and Ohio.
This weekend's matches will be the first away from the friendly confines of Alumni Memorial Gym for the Blue Raiders who opened the season with two tournaments at home.
The Blue Raiders will open action on Friday, Sept. 11 with Albany at 10 a.m. and will then face Miami at 4 p.m. that afternoon. Saturday, Sept. 12 Middle Tennessee will face No. 22 FSU, who is coming off a big weekend after upsetting No. 8 Illinois, at 11 a.m.
Live stats will be available throughout the weekend as linked on goblueraiders.com. Also results of each match will be posted on goblueraiders.com once play has been completed.
