Munsch in 7th Place at Lady Razorback InvitationalOctober 1, 2001 · MT Media Relations
"I was upbeat after our play in the first round," head coach Kim St. John said. "But the second round was a different story. We missed too many putts and could not put shots together. Hopefully we will have a better final round."
The highlight of the day was the play of junior Tamara Munsch. The Texas Tech transfer is in seventh place overall after firing rounds of 77-78=155. "Tamara had a great day," St. John added. "I am proud of the way she came to play."
Kristin Lynch had rounds of 84-87=171 to stand in a tie for 57th, while Amanda Harter carded scores of 85-87=172. Kandace Burnett is in 66th after recording rounds of 84-91=175. Nicole Biles, playing in her first tournament of the year, is in 77th place.
