The Blue Raiders have won six of their last seven matches since their six-match losing streak earlier in the season. The one loss during that span was to league leading Florida International.
Senior Ashley Waugh received Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week honors earlier this week after guiding the defensive backcourt to wins over Arkansas State and Arkansas-Little Rock.
Senior Ashley Mead along with junior Izabela Kozon reached 1,000 assists in their careers while senior Leslie Clark became the first Blue Raiders to notch 5,000 assists in a career.
These four student-athletes will help guide the Blue Raiders throughout the weekend against North Texas and Denver.
Middle Tennessee will face the Mean Green from North Texas first on Friday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. The team will have Saturday off before playing Denver on Sunday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m.
These matches are the last two of a four-match home stand. The Blue Raiders travel to Bowling Green, Ky., on Tuesday, Oct. 20 to face Western Kentucky to begin a four-match road swing.
Live stats will be available on goblueraiders.com for each match. The two matches will also be video streamed on goblueraiders.com.
