The Blue Raiders (16-7, 9-1) posted a hitting percentage of .451 in the match, its highest of the season, after knocking down 52 kills with just 11 errors in 91 attempts.
Senior Janay Yancey led the team in kills with 12 as she posted a .733 attack percentage with just one error in 15 attempts. Senior Ashley Mead also performed well posting 10 kills of her own with just two errors for a .444 hitting percentage.
Middle Tennessee only had two blocks on the night but did a good job staying in system as the backcourt defense recorded 52 digs. Senior Ashley Waugh had a team high 14 while senior Leslie Clark added 11. Clark also had 42 assists on the night.
The Blue Raiders held ULM (3-24, 0-12) to just 23 kills for a .099 hitting percentage with no Warhawk notching double-digit kills.
Christy Tribble led the defense for ULM as she had 17 digs and was the only player to have five or more digs. Stephanie Wardach led the Warhawk offense with seven kills while Meghan McCoy recorded 18 assists.
The Blue Raiders will have Sunday, Oct. 25 off to prepare for West Division leader New Orleans. Middle Tennessee will play the Privateers at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26.
