SAN ANTONIO, Tex. - Middle Tennessee's women's golf team carded a 317 on Tuesday to finish 10th at the Alamo Invitational. The tournament, played on the par 72 Briggs Ranch Golf Course, was shortened to just 18 holes due to rain on Monday.
Tennessee won the even by three strokes over Notre Dame and Texas A&M with a score of 289. Nebraska was fourth with a 302 while Mississippi and Wisconsin rounded out the top five with a 303.
Freshmen Olivia Love and Ashley Haggard and sophomore Morgan Hale all fired rounds of 79 to tie for 39th overall.
Clara Leathers was one stroke back with an 80 to tie for 48th while Steph Gough tied for 51st with an 81.
The Blue Raiders will play their final fall match of the season on Nov. 2-3 at the UAB Fall Beach Bash in Gulf Shores, Ala.
