MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Blue Raider volleyball team will round out a four-match home stand this weekend when it plays host to Florida Atlantic and Florida International.

Middle Tennessee will begin the weekend with the Owls at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6. Prior to the start of the match, the Blue Raiders will honor their four seniors on their outstanding careers.

Seniors Leslie Clark, Ashley Mead, Ashley Waugh and Janay Yancey will be looking to end their stellar careers with wins on their home floor. All four seniors have carved a place in the record books and will guide the Blue Raiders throughout the weekend.

Then Saturday at 7 p.m., directly following Middle Tennessee's football game with FIU, the Blue Raiders will face FIU to round out their home slate. The Golden Panthers' volleyball program is receiving votes in the AVCA Top-25 poll in addition to leading the East Division of the Sun Belt conference.

Middle Tennessee's one loss in Sun Belt play was 3-1 to the Golden Panthers on the road and the team is hoping to get a little revenge on its home floor.

Junior Izabela Kozon, who was named Sun Belt Player of the Week earlier this week, will help guide the team both offensively and defensively.

The winner of the match could ultimately be crowned the Sun Belt East Division Champion and all who attend the football game are encouraged to walk over to Alumni Memorial Gym and cheer on their Blue Raiders.

There is no charge for admission to all home volleyball matches. All home matches are played at Alumni Memorial Gym on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University.
