MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Gray Line Tours, in conjunction with the Blue Raider Athletic Association (BRAA), has announced travel packages to the New Orleans Bowl for MTSU fans and alumni.
Middle Tennessee will play Southern Miss in the New Orleans Bowl on Sunday evening, Dec. 20th, in the Louisiana Superdome at 7:30 pm.
Associate Athletic Director Alan Farley noted that packages are designed to take all the work out of attending the game, and are for anyone who wants to go, not just BRAA members.
"These are great packages," said Farley. "There is a lot of flexibility in them. You can leave on Friday for three nights in New Orleans, or leave on Saturday for two nights. There are also four different room rates available, depending on the number of occupants, as well as round-trip transportation to the game."
Farley said that all arrangements are made thru Gray Line by calling 883-5555, Ext. 119. The hotel is the New Orleans Marriott at the Convention Center. All questions should be referred to Gray Line.
"Gray Line buses and Marriott hotels are as good as it gets," declared Farley. "And we can take as many buses as we need, we are not limited to two or three buses per day, but the deadline for signing up is Monday, the 14th.
Game tickets and other expenses such as food, sightseeing and souvenirs are not included.
