Sendoff for football team set for Tuesday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee Athletic Department will hold a New Orleans Bowl Sendoff Party Tuesday night at Murphy Center.
The event will take place at 7 PM on the track level and fans are encouraged to attend and wish the team well as they prepare to leave on Wednesday for New Orleans.
The official bowl poster will be available for fans to have signed by the players and coaches, the Blueout T-Shirts will be on hand, and the ticket office will be setup so fans can purchase bowl tickets. Players and coaches will also be available for pictures.
Middle Tennessee and Southern Miss will kickoff at 7:32 PM CT on Sunday for the 2009 R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.
