LaDuke Scores Three Goals in 5-2 Win

The three goals are her second hat trick is as many contests by the freshman after netting three goals in the first 20 minutes against Lipscomb this past Sunday.
LaDuke put the Blue Raiders up 1-0 in the 24th minute with her sixth goal of the season, and the two teams went to halftime tied at one. The Liverpool, N.Y., native scored four minutes into the second half on her second unassisted goal of the match. Jenny Cox then gave MT a 3-1 advantage in the 61st minute with her second goal in two matches on an assist from Emily Carter.
After the homestanding Trojans cut the lead to 3-2, LaDuke scored again unassisted in the 86th minute, and fellow freshman Laura Miguez tallied the final goal of the match in the 87th minute on an assist from LaDuke, her first career assist.
"Our forwards played really well, and we were able to get a victory," MT head coach Scott Ginn said. "The conditions were miserable, raining and the temperature dropped about 20 degrees during the match. It was tough but we played well and got the win."
The Blue Raiders face Arkansas State in Jonesboro, Ark., Sunday at 1 p.m. MT returns home October 12 & 14, entertaining Denver and North Texas on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
