MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Chris McCoy, the 2009 Sun Belt Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year, has been invited to play in the 2010 East-West Shrine Game on January 23. The game will be played at the Florida Citrus Bowl and will kick off at 2 PM CST on ESPN2.

McCoy registered 64 tackles to go with 20 tackles for loss and seven sacks in helping lead the Blue Raiders to a 10-3 record and a victory in the New Orleans Bowl. The Villa Rica, Ga., native also was earned honorable mention All-American honors from SI.com while being tabbed the SBC's Defensive Player of the Year by the Sporting News.
