MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee women's basketball team will return to the road for another mid-week Sun Belt game when it travels to Monroe, La., Wednesday for a 7 p.m. tip against ULM. It marks the third time in the last four weeks in which the Blue Raiders will be on the road in league action.

Reigning Sun Belt Player of the Week Alysha Clark leads the MT squad with Sun Belt bests of 24.6 ppg and 11.6 rpg, ranking fifth and sixth nationally, respectively. She earned her 10th overall Sun Belt Player of the Week nod, and fourth this season, after posting a double-double in each of the two wins last week against FIU and Florida Atlantic.

Fellow seniors Jackie Pickel, Chelsia Lymon and Brandi Brown also had strong performances last week. Pickel netted a career-high 34 points in the win over FIU, while Lymon chipped in a season-best 20 against Florida Atlantic. Brown became the 22nd member of the 1,000-point club at Middle Tennessee Wednesday, joining Clark as current players to reach the plateau in 2009-10.

Sophomore Tina Stewart tallied double-figure points in both games, including a career-high dozen against FIU.

The Blue Raiders bring an 11-5 overall and 6-1 SBC record into Wednesday's matchup. Middle Tennessee has won all four previous meetings with the Warhawks, including last year's 91-75 triumph January 31 in Murfreesboro.

ULM owns a 7-11 overall and 1-7 ledger entering the game. Head coach Mona Martin's squad had dropped five straight since picking up its first league win of the campaign, a 69-67 decision over Troy December 30.

Jesse Carrier paces the Warhawks with 11.3 ppg, while Sannisha Williams provides 10.9 ppg and a team-high 8.4 rpg.
